Strengthening Families

"This is no coincidence. God organizes us into families so that we can grow up in happiness and safety, and so that we can learn to love others selflessly—the key to true joy. Within the family is the best place to learn to love others the way Heavenly Father loves each one of us." (Mormon.org)

Families are important in Gods eternal plan for His children. He wants all of us to be happy and to develop strong relationships at home. Happy family life is most likely to be achieved when it is centered on gospel principles. When Jesus Christ is the center of our home a greater spirit of love can be found within.

"God's Church exists to help families gain eternal blessings. We believe the greatest blessing He gives us is the ability to return to live with Him in heaven with our families. We follow our Heavenly Father's will because that is how we earn this blessing." (Mormon.org)

That is why we are here. We are here to learn and grow as families. We are here to follow Jesus Christ so that we can find peace and joy with our families in this life and in the life to come. The Church itself is a big family. We are here to support one another and help each other grow. When we are in need everyone is there for one another.

Going one step further we are all Gods children and thus we are all here to support and love one another as families should.

"Think about it, if you truly thought of your neighbor or coworker as your brother or sister, would you treat them any differently?" (Mormon.org)

I hope that we all can recognize this eternal truth so that we can find peace with one another. Let us all help one another to find happiness in this life and in the life to come. Let us all center our lives on Jesus Christ. This is how we recieve this peace. This is how everything is made possible.

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you"
(St. John 13: 34)
