Mary Did You Know?

There is nothing quite like the Chrismas season. It is a jolly time of the year. The Spirit that is in the air is so contagious. I especially love the music that comes at Christmas time. Yesterday I was debating on what songs were my favorite. I narrowed it down to these three:

1. Mary Did You Know
2. What Child Is This
3. Silent Night

All of these hymns help remind us of what Christmas is all about. I love celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. He has done so much for all of us. I love remembering him. I just want to copy down the lyrics to my favorite Christmas song to help us all remember what Christ did for us.

"Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water? Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters? Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you."

"Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God."

"The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again. The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb."

"Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb? This sleeping child you're holding is the great I am."

This baby boy was the Son of God. He died for our sins. He made it possible for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father. He is the only way we can recieve eternal life.

This baby boy died and was ressurected. He lives today. He speaks to Gods children through a Prophet. That prophets name is Thomas Monson. He is an active part of our lives. Follow him by being baptized and experience the joy of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
